THE AUTHOR

Carolyn Schwartz still takes great joy in being a wife, mom, “Gran” to 12 grandkids, and life-long student of limitless topics, but has also taken turns being an elementary school teacher, a piano teacher, a property manager, and a travel journalist. At present, she lives with her husband of nearly seven decades in Pittsboro, North Carolina although she is still, on a moment’s notice, ready to pack her suitcase and follow adventures wherever they take place.
